the chance of lume degrading depends on the quality of the application...some watches only stay bright an hour or so others through the night...the Sun is actually the best activator of Lume and the chances of lume degrading in 20 years is not something to even worry about...Ralf uses high grade C-3 and BGW9 and it is applied thick...everyone has a preconcieved notion of what they like as far as brightness of lume and a watch can always be sent to a modder to re-lume...so far of the 3 Benarus watches I own I can say the lume is above average and long lastinghand6.gif
