Some very good movements are being produced in Asia now. The Seagull chrono movement is actually fantastic! I have a Precista chrono from Time Factors, and got the optional transparent caseback. The movement is stunning and keeps great time.I've got two watches with the 7750 movement and they runs fantastic! I belive thats an asien movement as well, or....?
I also have a number of beaters with Asian movements. In spite of abuse, they just keep going.
Different story if they try to be Swiss, I guess! May each one of those movements be forever cursed!
