 I've been using chrome on and off in concert with IE. 3T works a lot better for me using IE but I will say Chrome is quick and stable. And also easy to use. Been using it a lot for Facebook and my Mafia Wars addiction.

I don't see any need to try and get rid of IE though I don't think you can ever really get rid of IE on a windows box... kinda like AOL that way.;)
