Congratulations on the engagement! Here are my 2 cents worth; give her 3-5 different types/styles and let her pick the one she wants to give to you. As you know an heirloom is anything that you and your family decide is worthy of being passed down generation to generation. My final piece of advice, be sure and give plenty of hints as to which watch you really would like to receive so as to remind you of her.
