 Well, the metal linked band came with tension pins (folded over and bowed at one end), so install was a snap!

I also got a new rubber wrist band and it came with the barbell pins. It looks like you just slide one end over the post and tension holds it together. I haven't installed it yet (I like the metal better), but it doesn't look like it will be too difficult (as long as I don't bend the posts...

Thanks for the welcome and the replies. I will try to post a picture of the new rubber strap and barbell pins when I get a second - just for future reference.
