 I wanted an alarm watch. So, I ordered this JL anolog-digital watch from shopnbc last week. List is supposed to be $995. I was skeptical of that. However, based on the Jacques Lemans I have gotten for my wife, I placed an order. It arrived right on time today. The box (yes they shipped it in a box) felt heavy when I took it out of the mailbox.

Opening the box, I found a wooden inner carton with a large, heavy, well made JL anolog-digital watch inside. It is flat out gorgeous. It is very HEFTY too. Maybe the darn thing is meant to retail for somewhere near a grand. It sure is made like it is. For $139 plus $1.99 shipping this is a super bargain. Yeah, its quartz, but I don't care. I wanted an alarm that wasn't mechanical and this is a quartz timepiece is one I won't be hesitant to put on my wrist. Awesome!
