I used the search engine but couldn't find what I'm looking for (... over 900 pages with word 'Watch BOX' in it!!!!
). I've been looking for a good watch box for long time but can't seems to find anything interesting at reasonable price. I would like to hear your recommendations for a good storage unit. I'm looking for something that could store about 20 watches if possible (or less). My main criteria are:- Can take watches with case up to 50mm plus crown (55mm)
- Solid construction and durable (wood, metal,plastic...) to provide good protection
- Reasonable price (under $200)
- I don't care about display window, box is to store watches, not to show
- lock if possible, but not necessary
- I'm not looking for something fancy but practical,only a plus if it looks good too
- I'm in Canada and need to be able to buy through Internet
- i prefer to store watches on pillow rather than flat, easier for watches with ss bracelet IMO
Actually, i would like to hear what you guys are using to store your collection safely. I know that some of you have very imaginative ways to do so and if it can be done with minimal cost, it's even better so i can keep funds for timepieces, not storage. ;)
