Going back to the "First Generation" right through the present, Gevril has used the Dubois Depraz modified movements for most of their chronographs. I have several of them. The 2824-2 is an automatic 25 jewel movement which is modified by adding the Dubois Depraz 26 jewel chronograph module for a movement total of 51 jewels. No hype, in my experience, just a great movement. Clyde
