Thanks, Graham. I agree that scratches and dings won't ever be noticeable on the mesh bracelets. I think this is why, IMHO, the jubilee type of bracelet is superior to the oyster type in terms of scratch/ding/swirl resistance. I remember watching a few episodes of Animal Planet where the divers test mesh/link suits against shart bites. The mesh suits proved very effective.

Makes me also wonder why hardly any of the diver watch makers offer a robust mesh watch bracelet as an option. And by robust I mean same proportional thickness to the huge lugs and case dimensions of the divers' watches. I guess the weight of the mesh might be a factor when used by desk diverssubtlelaugh.gif like me.
