The movement stopped about 10 minutes later and could not be revived for more than 10 seconds. Even after winding and using the rotor. We returned the watch but cannot find anything for close to the price we paid. :(
We are still looking. We have our hearts set on the Railmaster.
Was sending it to a watchmaker for repair on their dime not an option?
Negatory. They would not cover the cost of the repair. The sign said "as is," so I guess we were lucky they took it back. The most they would offer is a refund. They said they tested it before we bought it, but my guess is that they did not test it over the course of a few days, only a few minutes.
