I too am interested in sharks. As a USAF helicopter pilot I saw an amazing number of sharks while flying over the water. I was very surprised to see a very large number of sharks to include Hammerheads all along the Gulf Coast of Florida!!! The surprising part was that on numerous occasions the sharks were only about 15 feet from the shore. :shock::shock::shock: The other place I saw a large number of sharks was in Asia (Philippines, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and etc) but no where near as many as in the Gulf Coast!!! cool10.gif As Bigrustypig mentioned, it is easy to think about the Jaws movies when you see them so close to shore.
