I have the black dialed model and like the Seastar alot!!!   It has a very unique design that is instantly recognizable as "The Seastar"...from the unique handset and dial to the nicely contrasting polished and brushed finishes...a very nice piece!!

I have seen someone with a chipped blue dial actually go through the process of "carefully" using nail polish remover (or paint stripper...can't remember which) to remove all of the dial paint with the result looking exactly like the silver dial model shown above.  He ended up removing the red 15 seconds paint as well in the end because trying to backfill the red didn't go so well.  The end result looked very good, however.

 


Yes, I'm really considering to take out all the blue paint: First, I like "custom" models , second: I like full steel bezels, third: The paint that I replaced is very much the same and I used Tamya mat acrylic paint for modeling....Meaning that Tissot didn't break them ass to find out how they would color them bezel: It shows somehow....
