Thanks for you compassion Bigrusty ;) ! You know, I honestly think that the problem is not with the brand as much as the QC and the handling of the watch. Yes there is a flaw on the dial but this is something you can also see on well known and way more expensive Swiss watches as well, and I know that for a fact since I have more than one Swiss watch with issues like, lume not put even or not applied precisely or a not aligned chapter ring or bezel... I would say this is not as common but it does happen. With that said, Russian watches, do have a reputation of uneven assembly quality. To me, it all comes down to QC and who inspected the watch before sending it to seller and then to the buyer, which is me. For some people, the problems I have would not be a big deal but for me, it is. I take good care of my timepieces and I like to damage them myself, if you know what i mean:D.
Poljot is, supposedly, an Higher end Russian Brand (again, according to what I read) and is usually well reviewed, same for Vostok Europe. So, I cannot say I will never buy another one because I kind of like a lot of their models, but one thing is for sure, I don't think I will ever buy an other one that's not coming from Russia2all. I'm certain that their is other good sellers out there but for me, Craig is the man and I KNOW that if I have a problem, he will take care of it.
