For those who don't know, I'm going to begin this by saying that Benarus, in particular Steve Laughlin (as I have never dealt with Ralf), has restored my faith in the art of customer service.

Over the past week, 30 Aug 09 to 05 Sept 09, I have been in contact with Steve concerning the last bead blasted BRG Moray with an orange minute hand.  All e-mails were answered promptly, professionally and courteously.  On Friday, 04 Sept 09, I contacted and submitted payment for the watch and agreed accessories.

Steve, in his now ubiquitous style, replied to my order and explained that they were out of the medium brown strap, and was sending a dark brown.  Additionally, we had discussed extra links for the bracelet so that I may utilize the deployment clasp.  Steve again displayed an immense amount of customer service, and offered some from off his own  bracelet, as both he and Ralf were out.  He too compensated me with another jewel by including an extra set of srews/lugbars just to make up for MY inconvenience.  WOW!

Folks, this is what is lacking from most business today.  The interaction of purveyor and customer.  The attempt by that person to let a shopper know that, "Hey, you're business is appreciated."  This is what happens when you have professional people running a professional company.

In closing, let me reiterate (as I have to Steve), that Benarus forever has my business.  I will always buy, wear and support their company as they continue to develop, design, produce and sell quality timepieces.  Both these men are to be commended.

Sincerely,

Stuart Smith - owner of orange PVD SD #48/50, and soon (just not soon enough) BRG dialed, bead blasted Moray with an orange minute #35/50
