 That is Seiko's Lumibrite on the dial. One reason it is brighter is that it is applied thicker than a lot of watches. I find that Superluminova CS-3 formula is as bright when applied in the same manner.

Traser tubes aren't nearly as bright as a Monster or a CS-3 lumed watch within the first hour or so, but they are consistently bright. So, as the Seiko begins to fade, you can easily read the Traser tubes. Plus, they don't need any light source to charge.
