Seth, MKII has domed sapphire crystal to fit the Monster and many other Seiko models.  That is the only mod I would do to this watch, I agree with you, the lume on this watch is a torch and i just like the whole design.  It's beautifully ugly and love both of my monsters BM & OM :D
