 The monster is probably the last seiko that you should worry about sapphire on.

I've been banging around with a couple of monsters for a couple of years now and haven't managed to scratch the glass yet. The 007 cased stuff sure, the Sumo absolutely but the monster has a pretty well protected crystal.

I've even got a sapphire for my monster but since I haven't scratched the glass yet it is till wrapped up on my workbench!
