So, after changing my reserve from a Lum-Tec Bull45 A1 to an A3 & A4 and after about 300 emails back and forth with Jeanna from Stone Creek Straps (extremely patient and helpful, along with having great design ideas) I finally have both watches and all the straps in my possession (the A3, the last piece of the puzzle, was delivered today).

So, from the moment I saw the first Bull45 concept, I knew I wanted a few straps that were notched at the lugs, similar to a Bell & Ross strap. After looking over every strapmaker's website I could find, I settled on Stone Creek. The apparent quality & variety of leather/other material available, coupled with very reasonable pricing is what finally sealed the deal. Boy, was that a good decision (if I do say so myself). Jeanna took really great care of me (and my A4, which I sent to her so she could precisely measure and cut the straps). She has a customer for my watch buying life, which I imagine to be for quite some time (if only because of the cool stuff Chris and the Lum-Tec team keep coming up with).

Anyway, on to the watches. I received the A4 awhile ago and jeez was it hard to give it up after just a day so it could be measured. After not too long it came back, along with four amazing straps and just today the A3 arrived, completing the set. I was a little worried about the off white color of the A3 when I saw the pictures of the first completed model, but immediately after taking it out of the box, I fell in love. It perfectly matches the vintage strap Jeanna and I designed.

So here are some quick and dirty pictures I took this afternoon. When I have a little more time I will set it up and take a few proper pictures of all my cool new toys. Thanks again Lum-Tec & Stone Creek!
