I guess I was pretty lucky to go this long without hitting one. There are deer everywhere around here. Last night at 1 am when I went to leave Shelby out, there was a buck following a doe through the back yard. I got within 20 feet or so of him till he realized I was there. I had the spot light on him the whole time and he never noticed. He was too busy following that doe.
