Sorry for just getting back on this, but I just stumbled on it. The GMT hand on the 214 does not set independantly, Murph. It just tracks with hour hand only in 24 hour mode. The bezel is turned to indicate the second time zone. Hope that helps. Here is a picture of mine:

. I figured it out by researching at other places. Yours is A LOT cleaner than mine. I've only had this since last Saturday, but like bunches and would like to make it a keeper. Do you have any recommendations for somebody to re-do the dial, hands and crystal? I've found a couple places, but would be interested in who you recommend.
