To give another example, I had a watch made in HK. It was a tourbillion. I had a choice of 1ct of CZ or 1ct of Russian cut diamonds. They are 1pt which is the same size as Invicta, Croton and others use. The funny part was their was only a $30 difference in price. I took the diamonds. It just shows that the actual cost of these diamond chips is a lot less than most of us think. I'm sure most of the cost comes in the mounting of the stones. There is machinery that sets these stones now so even that is cheap.
