I know lots of folks like the clean look that the non-date dial provides, but I'm constantly forgetting the date and have relied on my watch to track that for me. What I do point the bezel to the minute mark that corresponds to the date. It's just 1 click. I do this first thing when I put the watch on for the day. Of course this means that 59 is the 1st, 58 the 2nd, etc, but you quickly get use to it. Every other month I use the other half of the dial so I don't have to turn the bezel a half turn. It's certainly a lot easier than setting a date after the watch has been sitting idle for a while. You don't have to be concerned about the am/pm aspect. I can't tell you how many times I've guess wrong and the date changes at noon instead of midnight! Dan Last edited on Wed Dec 2nd, 2009 11:13 am by DanK |
