First time I saw at Anders' shop, I thought it was Ti until I held it in my hands and realized the weight wasn't light at all. It's stainless steel but I can just imagine it's like a "parkerized" coating, same as the ones used for original issue Colt 45s in the old days. Hats off to Steinhart for this creation. If you are familiar with the K-Cote of the Sig Sauer, maybe it's the same technology. I need to write them and find out. I'll post on New Arrivals very soon. Welcome back, too William!!!" It's the Zeno 8800. Certainly hard to find and out of production now... Didn't think that it was a coating on your NavB.
