As some of you might remember, my Black S-1 Diver LE ( ) went kerplunk a while ago. It would be fine, and all of a sudden I would jar my hand slightly, and it would start vibrating madly and stop.
Well, I sent it in, received my confirmation postcard, and waited. Couldn't track it's progress, as the lovely link on the Instickya site didn't work. I got it back about a week early, despite their 2 week "scheduled vacation", and all seemed to be fine.
Now, the damn thing is running about 20 minutes fast per day. They claimed on the repair slip that it just needed a cleaning. Apparently they were wrong. I'm so shocked!
So now, I have to figure out a way to get a hold of them, and send the thing in AGAIN! I refuse to pay for shipping either way, as they should've gotten it right the first time. Hell, by this point I'm tempted to just make my first attempt at swapping out a movement, and use the movement from my other broken OGII (stripped out crown) rather than take a risk w/ Infecta's "repair center". Maybe if I wrote my explanation in chinese it would get repaired properly!
I'm so sick of this company. I'd already decided that I was done with them, but every once and awhile I see one I like, and is reasonably priced, and think I might pick up another cheap one, but I already have enough paper weights!
