 Personnaly, I am not out to shoot on Kobold: As I said, quality seems to be there offcourse. The finish and adjustment case/mvt is certainly top clean but still not worth the advertising price.
Now, only Kobold make those cases and YES they are lovely! But when you look at it, any good mechanic-ingenior/watch-maker guy with the right tools can make a case like that. It's a question of talent and Fricker don't got exclusivity on talent. My meaning is that you can meet all specs of Kobold: All of them even stronger, in another great watch who must sell cheaper because it don't got the "name"...
A writen name is sum of calligraphic drawings who personalise an identity in a language... People like strong,cool,sweet names/synbols and sometimes, they are ready to pay for it;)
