From what I know, capacitors of EcoDrives have a life of about 10 years. If your capacitor is the culprit and is now "incapacitated", maybe there is something else inside the movement that has caused it to stop. Replacing the capacitor itself may only be be fixing the symptom but not the cause. I'd suggest that you take it to a Citizen authorized repair facility, find out the cause of the probable half-life and then make a decision or a true fix from there. Hope this helps;)
