Thanks Graham. Seiko had a lot of nice movements and case in that era, the 6138 is also one I'm looking for...Just too bad they don't make more Auto chronos for the foreign market these days.
Graham/Daniel....The 6138, 6139 and 6139B movements are almost totally extinct. I've been hunting them down all over where I travel and sometimes I just get a grunt and a simple shrug of the shoulders from guys at 2nd hand stores and old watchsmiths. Even simple things like original mid '70s era hands are hard to get by. So take really good care of the vintage Seikos that you have.
