 One of my clients and my best friend is an Information Systems Director at his company. He talks about how important certification is in the industry.

I have a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) credential because it is my profession and, while not required, if I were looking for someone to give me investment advice, I'd sure want to know the guy did his homework.
