Took the day off to spend the day with my daughter on her 8th B-Day (gosh, they sure grow up fast).
Today will be fairly low key with the real celebration starting tomorrow and continuing into Saturday with a sleepover with 5 of her friends.
We are headed to the pool...and I'm wearing the Bluering on a blue stitched Maratac.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU W/ ALL THOSE LITTLE GIRLS, 8yrs old .WOW I remember when mine was 8 she loved her DADDY now shes 16 & its not cool to hang out w/ good-ole-dad @ least I still got 3 more under the age OF its still cool to be w/ DADDY

(and I'm gonna need it with six 8 year old girls running wild in the house at the sleepover)....you are so right...this is a reminder for me to soak it all in and enjoy it now...for soon "Daddy's little girl" will be 16 and, like you said, Daddy just won't be as cool to hang out with.
