Hi guys, I'm new here, I found this forum while I'm searching infos about Crux watches and I decided to join this community..
I'm on the way to order a Crux, but I'm very very very confused, CX-1 or CX-4?
Residente....Tony hit it right in the button....CX-1 is more a traditional diver while the CX-4 is a blast from the past. Initially when Crux was launched on 3T, I was confused between the CX-1 and CX-4 but after a few days of proing over the details on the Crux website, I decided on the CX-1.
I went for the CX-1 because of it's very simple and refined lines, the DLC bezel top with raised numbers and the cushion case. To me, this CX-1 is a minimalist diver's watch in a tuxedo suit, not in a rubber suit.
I guess that appealed to me the most in relation to all my other divers.If you want to see real world photos, go back my posts on DAILY WRIST CHECK, or DWC, and see the CX-1 on my 6.75 inch wrist. I've been posting it for about 2 and 1/2 weeks now. I also posted my CX-1 on today's DWC.
Eventually and within the year, I plan on getting my own CX-4 and since I have several leather straps I will be shifting straps around for sure. I also think the CX line will look terrific on extreme Zulus. I already have black, gray and khaki 24mm Zulus on low lite rings to fit into the CX-1 or CX-4.
