We were in Clear Water for Spring break 09 and the beach was awesome there! I expect the water and sand will be just as beautiful in St Pete. I have great memories of a vaca in Fort Meyers with my wife many years ago... before we were married !
Agreed, my thoughts exactly on the Boschett b3eing the perfect watch to wear when we'll hit the beach. I can wear the Doxa when doing activities around the area or in the pool, boating but don't want to wear it when playing in the sand.
So I am definitely taking a SMP or 2 or 3 I cannot decide which to pickhammer.gif
So far I am thinking
CD1
Sharky
SMP Bond
are definitely making the trip... do I take the Ti SMP? 2254 in addition? I considered the oris but changed my mind.
And I have a little something on the way I got off the sales forum I wil take if it lands before I leave
Whatever I don't take will most likely end up in my safe at the bank for two weeks.

Brice...You are going to love the St. Pete Beach area...I have not stayed directly at St. Pete Beach, but when are kids were younger (3 & 5 years old...they are now 8 & 10), we stayed at a boutique inn/condo right on the beach in the Redington Shores area (which is just a little up Gulf Blvd road from St. Pete Beach). The setup there was literally step out onto the patio and the beach was right there.
That vacation was our first all beach vacation with both kids, so the kids went absolutely gaga for the ocean, sand, beach experience. That area was also very layed back IMO (St. Pete Beach should be similar?), which was just what we were looking for with the kiddos.
The water and beach were just perfect at Redington Beach (I'm assuming this area is far enough away from all the gulf oil spill stuff that you will see no impact currently?).
For beach/sand duty, I think your Boschett Cave Dweller would be perfect (all brushed with no polished finishes to get scratched on the sand and banging around). The Doxa Sharky will also be a great one to bring, but I don't know how that highly polished bezel will do if your really getting crazy in the sand...hey, maybe you like a little wabi on your timepieces...adds character IMO. The Doxa 5000T would be great too, but I noticed you are selling that beauty!!!
I'd probably leave your leather straped pieces at home, and consider taking one of the Omegas for those great dinners out with the family.
With this great lineup, I think you've got things well covered Brice!!!
No doubt you are going to have an awesome time!!!!dancing.gif
