Just wait until the MAD VIKING shows up!! ![]() So I jump from my boat with a roudhouse axe first! ![]() What I see as positive on this watch: The DLC coating...There's a bunch of WIS who hesitate about the PVD but a DLC seems to be the right answer against scratches for a black-tone watch. The exagonal screws on the lugs: My favorite option for solidity and strap-change without risking to scratch the case with a flat screwdriver who could slip-off... For the rest...Carb.fiber dial...Not my favorite feature but I can live with it... Markers design: Well, nothing amazing or attractive to me there but it's just a question of taste. For the hands: I vote gnarrrk blah.gif Now: Where is the bezel??? It's flat or nearly flat. How do you grab it then? And on the top of that: There's even no grip of any kind on it's edges!??? So you turn the bezel by griping on the top numbers's relief? Like the old telephone dials?laughing.gif Then when you turn it with your fingers(and diving gloves...?) , can you see in wich position you regulate it for any count-down? No: You can't see much because your fingers are all over the numbers who are allready hard to distinguish so soon the sun doesn't flash your watch... Yeah: It's all black and only good light conditions will make appearing clearely the numbers in relief. Or maybe it's made for the blind? ![]() Seems like this flat bezel who drowned into it's case, is only a handicap instead of giving some utility and personality to the watch... Then the quartz: Yes it's precise, but we know that since 40 years... Still, this market declines after it's glorious years of quasi-monopoly and becomes really cheap... You don't need any watch-maker to assemble them...They never get repaired, they only get replaced. Mechanic have it's own "soul" at list: That's why we prefer it. Sorry but the case design is boring: The lines are too simple...Nothing new there. And the fact that it's ALL black and therefore lack light's reflect, is pointing even more at it's very flat and anonymous design. For a MSRP of 895$...Please: Did you check the market on mechanical watches and how quartz watches loose value? I'm 37 years old also: But I eat baby seals on my breakfast, maybe that's why we disagree on this "marvelous" watch... The only thing who's cheap there, it's the joke. Is this company in anyways affiliated to Sonbol??? ![]() Merci Time2Watch but it's not a winner in my eyes...
