Mike...I'm well aware of warranty procedures as are many WIS but there are newbies who may not have this knowledge...so it wasn't Daves fault that he decided to send in his Invicta/Yellow box(POC if you ask me )... as Monster pointed out there is nothing in writing on the warranty card you receive with Invicta purchases and not everyone is aware it is written on their website...1st I have heard of this...but as a Company Invicta should take care of any situation that may arise and mark all incoming  Warranty repairs accordingly!.. this is called Customer Service...which We WIS are well aware that doesn't exist at Invicta...if Quality Control were better than there would be less of a need to send any Invicta in I read a CS story on another forum regarding Sthurling...Watch was sent in without the Box but was returned not only repaired with a quick turnaround time but in a New Box....I'm just tired of hearing excuse after excuse about Invicta who doesn't give a Rats A$$ about it's Customers and only of the bottom line...and that is Profit ...Nuff Said I will buy a pre-owned Invicta if it is from the very 1st run ever produced and the price is right however...so I may be a bit of a Hypocrite :D I have also taken many in trade to get another Timepiece of interest to me...fact is every other Year or so a new group of Invictaphiles emerge and owning some of the harder to find Invictas that are proven through extended ownership or stil NIB (and still working)as many of mine are have some value in the resale and trade areas...but fact is Invicta will never be the Company they started out to be that we all fell in love with many years ago...I am passing on what my WIS mentors tried to pound into my head over and over...and it finally sunk in The further I get from Invicta and Slop the more appealing my collection is to me and most of all No More CS issues hand6.gifhand6.gif..just my dollars worth >>I'm not saying a Thing ....

O.,
I have sent watches back to a number of places for repair such as Overstock.com, SWI, Croton, Invicta, Seiko, etc. They almost always tell you not include to the box.

I have no love for Invicta's crappy service. So, just send what is required for the repair. Nothing else.
