So I sold a Sea Gull manual wind on another forum, transaction was smooth. Then today I get this "Hi Mario, I have just received the watch, I was pleased at first, but when I pulled the crown to set time, the crown falls out! This should not have happened if the watch is in good condition, I have had over 20 watches in my collection and this is the first time such a thing has happened! I will have to send this watch to a watchmaker to fix the problem with the crown, it will cost me in excess of $50. I think its only fair that you refund me at least $50 for the repair. I am very disappointed with this purchase.." When I sent the watch it was in perfect working order, and at about 95% condition. Also looking at the tracking information, the watch is still in transit...so just that alone seems fishy. I mentioned this to the guy in my reply and also asked to see a picture of what he is talking about. So I'll see what he replies with. Anyway has anyone experienced something like this before?
