I've handled both at a gtg and own a LRRP MilSUb, I'll tell you that IMO the MKII's dial is sharper, the printing crisper,the dial is also darker, not sure if the Steinhart I handled had inner A/R the MKII did, the brushing finish is finer on the MKII, also the bracelet on my LRRP seems heavier duty than the Stein. The MKII comes off as a more refined overall piece. Also, if memory serves the MKII bezel rotates allowing you to keep track of 3 time zones not just two as the Steinhart with it's fixed bezel. It all coes down to what you want to spend, IMO the MKII is the better more refined overall watch.
