Before I was aware of the Vortex, this would have been my choice. I´m a BIG fan of the Omega ploprof 600 where this has its roots. But the pure specs on the vortex is nothing but impressive, and you get a lot of bang for the buck there. And was just told by my wife that she would by me the vortex, or any other in the list, for my birthday, so pretty happy with that
So now I´m having a bit of a problem deciding between the sharkmaster or the vortex, or even the triton. but either one would be a good choice I guess.
But thanks clouser, for your opinion. Didn`t make the decision any easier now, hehe.

I gave some serious thought to the Vortex when it first came out, but the lug to lug length was just too long for my 6.75" wrist. My cutoff point is 50mm, and I think the Vortex has a 54 or 55mm lug to lug. I also didn't like the fact that it doesn't have a date feature. I used to own a Bernhardt Sea Shark, and while I liked the look of the watch, I NEEDED the date wheel. However, if you have the wrist for it and you don't need the date feature, it's an excellent choice.
