(16-18mm would be more than enough, imo) Guess it will come with its own carrying license, registered as a "blunt object, suitable as a weapon"

Anyways, hope to see some wrist shots of it, that could "clear" up the whole practicality issue.
But, if one likes it or not, gotta hand it to him for making something uniqe!
