I agree with Oscar's thoughts/questions above (which I don't see now). I think that these considerations are even more critical with a micro-brand than a "big" player watch company, because a micro-brand really needs to guarantee that they can sell the entire run immediately, but who knows. I think that the concept gets even more challenging when you consider most women (I emphasize "most" because there are some, but it is a large minority IMO) do not really get the whole WIS thing and I would say (all in my opinion of course) that most do not consider an automatic timepiece practical for daily or rotational use...I can already hear...'you mean I have to set the time and wind the watch everytime I wear it?', if it is not a regular part of the watch rotation. For many WIS (me included), there is something very engaging and tactile about setting and winding a mechanical timepiece. I can think of a few big name brands that have struggled with the thought of creating a true, womens dive automatic (Doxa Coraline, Nymph). I happen to really like larger timepieces on women (heck, I've got my wife wearing up to 39mm timepieces (quartz)...although she was eyeing up my Anonimo D-Date the other day and actually slipped it on...I kind of liked it on her, but she was concluding that it was just a bit too big.
