Yes The Gauge looks big but the actual watch wear nicely on the wrist. Don't expect to hide the Gauge under your sleeve.
In the comparison, it is a 243. A 305 would have been slightly bigger (but not much thicker) as compared to the Gauge. Just look at the massive doom sapphire crystal.
Yes the Gauge wears 22mm straps. I have in mind mounting dive strap, mesh bracelet or vintage leather.
