I find that my Orients are more accurate than any of my Seikos. None of these has been regulated and are this accurate right from the start. I have always suspected that Orient takes more trouble to regulate their movements at the factory than does Seiko. Of course, I am only familiar with the 7s26/36 movements. I am sure Seiko does take more time to regulate the movements in their higher line GS watches.
Interestingly enough, Orient Watch is 52% owned by Epson which is a division of Seiko most widely known for printers!
