Lance, it's not really that thick....of course, this is relative from person to person. I choose the days when I wear it like if I'm just hostaged at the head office for meetings or similar days like those. It's very light and you'll hardly ever notice it's on the wrist. One good thing about the Gauge is you can mix and match a whole lot of rubber (black, blue) or leather in all colors and shades. Fore buckles, you can go full ti or even bronze, where an Italian company sells them in 24mm.
