I was answering Erics question "Dumb question......WTH do people see in this Seiko???? Seriously, can anyone tell me why its more than a $150 watch? I dont get it."...I was referring to the why it has become more than a $150. watch in recent years,not why someone paid 3 grand for the watch in the auction...
this model became very popular among Viet Nam vets,and was worn by Martin Sheen in the movie Apocalypse Now...amazing how a movie can drive the price up!
& you think the movie is why some1 paid that, I dont believe thats the reason, collectible, mint condition but a MOVIE!!!!
