Thanks for the nicely detailed writeup!...I see your subtitle is "keeper", but I've seen you flip many a keeper so we will just have to see if this one has the staying power to keep you interested amigo!
It seems the much lower pricing and move to direct selling exclusively by John at Bathys is an excellent strategic move. As you know, I was very tempted to pull the trigger on a Bathys a well, as the price point seems to very good for what you are getting. That Ruthenium grey dial is the dial I would have gone for too...I'm sure it is really difficult to photograph, but your pics do a good job of showing the variation in looks that you would get with a gorgeous metallic dial such as this one!
Looks great!!!Like you, I'm most drawn to the Auto Benthic as my first choice in the Bathys lineup, but the Auto 100 Fathoms is definitely a close second.
Enjoy this 'first' Bathys for a very long time...looks great on both the leather and the Isofrane!!!
