 My only point of reference is a few bronze buckles I treated in the months while waiting for the Moray,and those things developed a lot of patina quickly. I have no idea what alloy they are though.

But yes, Scott has gotten great results. I know at one point he used the liver of sulpher rocks, because he was kind enough to send me some, but I didn't use them for a month or more so they may have lost some of their potency. Or I may have just botched the procedure. Now I have some gel. I didn't heat the water, but got it as hot as our tap water gets. I guess it's a lot of trial and error.

BTW, when you open up the gel, be prepared for the smell!!!! Just about knocked me over.-)
