Sub transitional model 16800 of 1980 vintage.
Just got this back from the agents after a scare: it was overhauled 2 years ago at huge cost, and I've only worn it a few times since. Two weeks ago I took it out and wound it......only to find that the mainspring was bust! Inexplicable...Anyway, the good news is that it was repaired free of charge. A $400 saving!
Hmm. Isn't those springs as most Swiss springs should be "unbreakable" ?
