 so on another forum, there was some controversy surronding the A-5 taking design elements from other companies watches

Truly the dumbest arguments found on forums. Which watch does not take some cues from another? The Kobold people are pissed that they spend 3 times as much,for in the end is just a watch. Others have their darling brands etc. and feel this need to be the defender of perceived ingenuity.

In the end all these micro brands are not watch "Makers" but producers. (For the most part). They pick and chose cataloge parts and make a watch. What does seperate them is their QC and CS. The benefit to us is an above average product at an affordable price.

As said often, buy what you like and dont look back.
