Thank You Guys! I lusted after the original version when I was a kid, a guy on my paper route had a really cool blue bezel version and we always talked cars but I asked him one day about the watch and he said he bought it overseas and ever since that day I have really liked this style/model. When I saw the re-issue I had to have it.
Here is photo of one that is similar but I remember his date was at 6 o'clock.
