Brice, great to see this in rotation!  I remember you telling about this watch probably two years ago, am I right?  Where did you have the work done eventually?  Congrats and enjoy the heirloom.


thankyou.gif Graham! Indeed, I had started a thread about my gd dad's watch 1 1/2 yrs ago. After that I spent months looking for mvts on line, "affordable" donor watches I would not feel bad about tearing apart for parts subtlelaugh.gif, looking for watchmakers who could fix it... finally by luck due to a defective Breitling I bought on the used market, I found the right watchmaker. I ended up sending it to Craig Stone of Illinois Watch Company. It took several months but was well worth it in my eyes! I am VERY VERY happy!thumbsup.gif
