As requested on various forums, here are some pics and details of my vintage Delma dive watch. I'm not that great at wordy diatribes, so will make it short and sweet with some pics. Quite a good size at 41mm across and 14mm deep. Powered by an ETA Quartz movement, the hands match up with each second marker spot on, which appears to be quite a rarity for Quartz watches. It came in it's own Delma branded leather wrap which, although a little worn here and there (water marks perhaps?) feels real quality. ![]() Opening it up, it comes with it's original steel bracelet and an extremely long rubber tropic strap which appears (judging by the fact that none of the holes appear broken) unused. This thing is seriously long (I assume to fit over a wetsuit) which adds to the whole "tool" feel. This is a proper functional "tool" watch. It literally feels as though it could take anything and come back for more! ![]() Another great feature of this watch is the way that the straps can snap on/off, perfect for quick changing between the rubber for diving and the bracelet for going out afterward :) ![]() Simply turn the watch to the left (remembering to hold the base ;): ![]() And it snaps off, ready to be snapped onto the bracelet: ![]() ![]() It also has a decomp table with the same mechanism that the watch can sit on and a clip for putting on a belt! ![]() Here's a pic of the underside (Pic borrowed from previous owner): ![]() ![]() The screwcrown sits flush to the case and required you to unscrew it either with your nail or a screwdriver. You cannot set it until you remove it from your wrist as it doesn't come out enough, which is also great as no chance of it accidentally opening. ![]() I did consider selling this a while back, but it is sooooo cool I don't think I will any time soon. As both the bracelet and rubber are too big, I opted (as the rubber can be removed) for a nice Hirsch Liberty instead: ![]() Hope you like my mini review Mark
