I sort of agree with the principe Skip. Stupid to buy a Rolls when you can't afford a break shift... But then on a Rolls: Everything is from Rolls. With watches, you usually don't have to go through the manufacturer: Specially when the movement is a well known and conventional ETA which parts are available to any watch-maker. Breitling is not playing this monopoly game. Ball makes it difficult with a monocoque case and special screws there: Things who are not at all necessary to a 3000m built watch. Them ETA should be serviceable to anyone by anyone. For the 8L35 from the Tuna, things are not be so easy as this movement is not much known outside Japan and parts are not circulating because it's totally in-house production: The SBDX011 is a domestic watch. The day Ball has it's own movements, I would understand better this "exclusivity" tactic.
